Armela has an extensive research background. She co-authored a research paper, published as an article (with Nevena Jevremović), on interim measures in commercial arbitration under the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, published in the 2018 volume of the Czech (& Central European) Yearbook of Arbitration.
She regularly speaks at conferences and seminars dedicated to corporate law, dispute resolution, arbitration, international contract law and contributing to various international conferences, as well as the government’s legislative efforts to enhance the regulatory framework in B&H. She organized and delivered public lectures at various local and international conferences, inter alia, on damage assessment and other relevant topics from arbitration practice (Deloitte Office Sarajevo), on the use of arbitration in everyday business (Chamber of Commerce FBiH), on the procedural aspects of arbitration for judges and prosecutors (Centre for education of judges and prosecutors FBiH), and many other.
She speaks English fluently, and she has many years of experience in unofficial translation of documents.
